I’ve listed all essential items for packing when traveling to Thailand.   1. Travel Adapter: Thailand uses Type A, B, and C electrical outlets, so a universal travel adapter is essential to keep your devices charged. Look for one with multiple USB ports for convenience. I reccomend The worldwide travel adaptor on Amazon as it has a USB & USBC port for easy charging of your hand held devices.
  2. Mosquito Repellent: Protect yourself from mosquito-borne diseases like dengue fever and malaria with a reliable mosquito repellent. Opt for DEET-free options if you have sensitive skin.I reccommend Buzz Away Mosquito, not only does it work, but it smells like Cedarwood & Lemongrass!!! <3
  3. Lightweight Clothing: Thailand’s climate is mostly hot and humid, so pack lightweight and breathable clothing like cotton shirts, shorts, and dresses to stay comfortable. I reccomend buying a micro fiber towel for those beach/pool days. Easily folds up inside your bag and dries in minutes!
  4. Sunscreen: The sun in Thailand can be intense, so pack a high SPF sunscreen to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Waterproof options are ideal for beach days. Hawaiian Tropic Everyday Active Lotion is by far my favorite factor 50 suncream i’ve ever used. It leaves my skin feeling soft but not sticky and absorbes in the skin really easily.
  5. Reusable Water Bottle: Stay hydrated in Thailand’s tropical weather by carrying a reusable water bottle. Look for one with a built-in filter to ensure safe drinking water wherever you go. LifeStraw Go Series may be a little on the expensive side but has a Membrane microfilter which protects against 99.999999% Bacteria (including E.coli + Salmonella). It also has a good range of colour options.
  6. Sunglasses: Shield your eyes from the bright sun with a pair of polarized sunglasses. Opt for ones with UV protection to keep your eyes safe.
  7. Quick-Dry Towel: Whether you’re hitting the beach or staying in hostels, a quick-dry towel is a versatile and space-saving essential. Look for one that’s lightweight and compact. See amazon link for an affordable microfilber towel
  8. Comfortable Walking Shoes: You’ll likely do a lot of walking in Thailand, so pack comfortable and durable walking shoes. Breathable sneakers or sandals with good support are ideal.   9. Travel-sized Toiletries: Save space in your luggage by packing travel-sized toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and toothpaste. Looking for TSA-approved 10-Piece Deluxe Kit with Travel Size TSA Compliant Essentials? Thank me later.
  10. First Aid Kit: Be prepared for minor injuries and ailments with a compact first aid kit. Include essentials like bandages, antiseptic wipes, pain relievers, and any personal medications you may need. Im not going to lie…. some like to buy a First aid travel Kit while others (Like me) just deal with that issue if and when it arrises. 7/11 has plenty of first aid items, but if you like to plan ahead ive found the cheapest kit which has all the essentials on Amazon.
